Jenny and Tom's Wedding at Gellifawr Woodland Retreat

On Wednesday 16th June Jenny and Tom got married at the beautiful Gellifawr Woodland Retreat. Despite a somewhat rainy day, it didn’t stop them having an outdoor ceremony, and enjoying an afternoon of games with their closest family and friends. It was such a beautiful wedding, and I loved being able to capture it for them.

The Ceremony

Jenny and Tom chose to have a Humanist ceremony, and did a handfasting ritual. It was a very beautiful and meaningful ceremony, and even their lovely dog was in attendance!

The Couple’s Portraits

The grounds of Gellifawr are the perfect backdrop for photos, so we didn’t have to venture far to get some lovely photos.

The Reception

There was a wonderful meal, heartfelt speeches, a garter being thrown (yes you read that right!) a walk in the woods for a play on the swing, and a games tournament that might have got a bit competitive, but ultimately Jenny’s team were victorious.
