Chloe and Alex's Wedding at Coed Y Mwstwr Hotel in Bridgend
On Saturday 14th March Chloe and Alex got married at the Coed Y Mwstwr Hotel in Bridgend, South Wales. It was one of the last weddings I was able to photograph before the lockdown, and I’m so glad their day was able to go ahead as planned.
My associate Hannah Richards assisted me at this wedding, which enabled us to capture even more images of the day. If you are wanting a wider range of photos, or more moments being able to be captured, then adding a second photographer to your package is a great idea. Just ask about it when you get in touch.
Morning Preparations
I arrived shortly before the Ceremony, and was able to capture Alex arriving in a friend’s Aston Martin, as well as capturing a few photos of Chloe getting ready with her Mother and Sister, and her Father seeing her in her dress for the first time.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was so beautiful, and as well as exchanging vows, Chloe and Alex read to each other from pieces of writing that perfectly expressed how they feel about each other. It was such an emotional thing to witness.
Venue: Coed Y Mwstwr Hotel

Hair and make-up: Alicia Thorne

The Group Photographs
After the ceremony we took the time to capture some more formal group photographs with their family and friends. I think it’s always worth making time for at least a few of these photos of all your family together.
The Couple’s Portraits
We then took some time to explore the lovely grounds at Coed Y Mwstwr to take some more intimate couple’s portraits.
The Reception
Capturing natural photos of you and your guests during the reception is one of the highlights of the wedding for me, it’s so lovely to be able to look back and see how much love and happiness was shared on your special day.
