A Nash Point Lighthouse Wedding
Ever wondered what it would be like to get married in a Lighthouse? Well a few weeks ago I had the privelage of capturing Alice and Matthew's Wedding at Nash Point Lighthouse, in South Wales. It is such a beautiful and unique venue to get married in, but don't just take my word for it. Have a little look at some of my favourite photos from the day and see for yourselves.
The Wedding
You get the use of two floors of the lighthouse, one to have your ceremony and one for mingling with guests afterwards. The round rooms and spiral staircases circuling them make for a lovely setting for a wedding.
Couple's Portraits
After the ceremony, whilst the guest were milling around, we snuck off to take some photos of the bride and groom. You are allowed to go up to the actual light for photographs, and there is even one floor that has the old light on it, which is fun for taking photos inside of as well. We had to walk through some serious mud to get the photos with the Lighthouse in the background, but thankfully this couple came prepared with their wellies!
The couple's portraits are one of my favourite parts of any wedding, and it is well worth making time for in your busy day.
