Introduction

My love for the great outdoors has taken me on many adventures. From time spent travelling, to a year spent working in an adventure centre where I taught children and adults of various ages outdoor pursuits. And now to my biggest adventure yet, Motherhood.

I want to raise children who have "the best day ever" on a regular basis. And I'm sure any of you reading this who have children, will know kids can have a lot of these. And whilst my 3 aren't always as keen to get outside as I am, we've learnt a few tricks on the way to coax them out the door. I've found all it really takes is a little imagination and adventure, and more often than not closing your ears to the whining and reluctance and taking them out anyway. I've found they usually change their tune as soon as we get there!

My plan for this blog is to share with you, through my photos (and a few words too) some of the adventures we go on. And hopefully equip others to undertake similar outings with their families too, regardless of whether you are local to Swansea or not. So watch this space, and i hope you'll come along for the ride.
