My wife and I hired Rachael to shoot our wedding at Fairyhill. As a wedding videographer/ photographer myself, I had particularly high standards. However, I was instantly impressed by Rachael's beautiful work and was excited that she was available for our date.
Not only did Rachael provide many more beautiful photos from our big day than we expected, but she also managed to blend in with our guests and capture the natural, candid shots that we wanted.

Rachael photographed our wedding this Summer. We originally chose Rachael due to her stunning portfolio of outdoor scenery and relaxed, natural wedding pictures. Our wedding ceremony was held outdoors followed by a marquee for the reception, therefore we felt it was very important to have a photographer who could capture the beauty of the Welsh countryside in the background of our wedding pictures. Rachael did just that- and the photos are beautiful! Her communication has been fantastic, from our initial enquiry all the way through to the delivery of our final pictures! Rachael was the photographer at our wedding in June 2023. Rachael was so professional leading up to the wedding; regular check-ins and meetings to discuss what we'd like. The pre-wedding questionnaire was really helpful. On the wedding day itself, Rachael had a magical skill of being at the heart of the action, whilst at the same time, the photo subjects were also unaware that photos were being taken. We have had a few sneak peek photos through, and are so far delighted with the photos. Myself and my husband aren't particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but Rachael made us feel so relaxed with her natural shooting style. Rachael was also great with our kids, and they particularly liked Elmo on the camera lens! Would absolutely recommend Our Beautiful Adventure photography; we are very pleased that we selected such a wonderful photographer and person to capture our special day.
Wedding
We booked Rachael for our wedding at Oxwich Bay in July 2023. We researched tirelessly for a photographer that captured natural happy moments as a couple and also with our guests. When we saw her portfolio it was exactly what we were looking for and now we have the final photos she has exceeded our expectations - we are over the moon with the results! Looking back on the photos gives us so much joy as she managed to capture those special moments in such a beautiful way. The way the photos were presented with a keepsake box and USB with sending us sneak peeks whilst we waited for them just enhances the level of detail she works at.
She was professional, calm yet attentive. Especially when the weather started to turn she would know exactly when it was best to take couple, confetti or group shots. Even our guests gave her rave reviews after the wedding saying you didn't really notice she was there when she was snapping away! We said before in our appointments that we didnt view ourself as as photogenic people and that we wanted mainly candid photos and she gave us great advice and the direction we needed on the day.
We can't reccomend her enough as a photographer - extremely talented. Photos we will enjoy forever! Thank you for everything.
